Description
As he reads through the course catalogue, he thinks losing sleep over school is maybe the best thing to happen to him in a long time. But then again, he reminds himself, a lot of good things have happened to him lately.
He glances down beside him, to Derek’s slack face as he breathes evenly in his sleep. Neither of them is perfect and there are bad days, but he’s better than he’s been in a long time. This time it’s not just distraction and repression; this time it’s healing.And this time, surrounded by his Packs, with his dad and Derek by his side, Stiles believes he’ll be okay.
No, he doesn’t believe it; he knows it.

It's the summer after Stiles' first year of college, and he's working a crappy job and dealing with nightmares and anxiety - but he's okay, he swears. He makes it through most days without too much trouble. Then, a certain werewolf comes back into town. Which Stiles doesn't care about, nope, not at all.
After two and a half years, Derek returns to Beacon Hills with his small Pack. Though he tried to move on, something just kept drawing him back to Beacon Hills, he's just not sure what. Now, he figures he can start building something like a life - but he keeps getting distracted by Stiles Stilinski of all people.

!!! after one year, and almost 200k words, the fanfic is complete! ;7; idk if i wanna cry or jump through the roof xD because at the same time i'm happy that we, me and thepsychicclam, managed to finish this but i'm also kind of sad that it ended?? ;-; (we are probably gonna work on sth new at some pont tho xD haha)
it was a really fun experience to work on this and i think i made some progress bc of it as well >U< (since i cringe everytime i see the first fanart i did for this fic :'D haha) plus i got to be one of the first one to read the new chapters :3
but yes, the fic is complete and there's nothing we can do : ))
that means it's not a WIP anymore so the ones who waited can start reading!
i know i'm gonna read it again pretty soon ;U;! IT'S SO GOOD <3
